Katie + John | White Chapel Wedding | Shelbyville, TN

This blog is a super special blog to me, for several reasons… 1) I had the honor of photographing a former high school classmate/teammate/friend on her wedding day in a stunning chapel in Shelbyville, TN New Hope Chapel (check it out)… #thatisthebestreason 2) It was MY very FIRST SOLO WEDDING .. and it was everything I hoped for & more… and 3) I had the BEST 2nd shooter I could have ever asked for …and you might just have to read and scroll through the whole thing to find out …. #dundundunnnnn

Reason #1: THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON …THE MARRIAGE BETWEEN TWO OF THE SWEET SOULS ..Katie & John.. Katie , was the type of bride that you dream of being … flawless.. glowing…. and composed… John, was the kind of groom that you hope to find one day… calm, cool, collected, and easy going.. yet attentive, sweet, and kind! Seems pretty obvious they would be a match made in heaven…

Their wedding day was simple, yet stunning, with a beautiful white chapel with natural LIGHT!!! (that never happens .. ever inside a church/chapel… and it did .. HUGE HUGE big windows overlooking the Tennessee rolling hills… JAW DROPPING : ) ) & It really was a wedding that focused on the love between the two of them .. and it was a day I will NEVER forget! ..

Reason #2: Ahhhhh my first wedding … it was the biggest thrill .. and I am going to be a wedding photographer junkie for life… I’ll forever be so grateful for Katie & John taking a chance on me .. and allowing me to be apart of such a wonderful experience!!!
